As a  fast-paced PR professional, I was wired for speed, deadlines, and instant results. Yin Yoga taught me that slowing down is where real transformation happens.

This training shattered my “go hard or go home” mindset. It reminded me that growth isn’t always loud—it’s often found in stillness, discomfort, and surrender.

While it may seem like a modern wellness trend, its roots stretch deep into ancient India, interwoven with the philosophy of Shiva and Shakti, the Siddha traditions, and the delicate balance of Prana (Chi) that flows through every being.

Yin Yoga: The Art of Stillness

Unlike fast-paced yoga styles that build heat and intensity (Yang), Yin Yoga invites us into the realm of surrender (Yin). It’s not about pushing, pulling, or powering through.
