I wear the green ribbon because..............
Social Justice & inclusion is about being able to participate in and contribute to all aspects of a society that also includes people living with mental illness; that supports, intervenes and prevents crises; and that does not discriminate or stigmatise.
Green ribbon is the international symbol for mental health awareness. Wear a green ribbon to show colleagues, loved ones or simply those you walk past that you care about their mental health.
I wear the green ribbon to put mental health out in the open not to hide away.
I wear the green ribbon because I know that everyday is a battle but every new day is a victory.
This 'World Day Of Social Justice', let us all pledge to encourage positive conversations around mental health and take action by engaging in efforts that promote access, equity, inclusion to provide equitable pathways for all. This includes using our skills, talents and voice to serve our society.
