 णमोकार महामंत्र

णमो अरिहंताणं,

णमो सिद्धाणं,

णमो आयरियाणं,

णमो उवज्झायाणं,

णमो लोए सव्व साहूणं,

एसो पंच णमोक्कारो, सव्व पाव-प्पणासणो।

मंगलाणं च सव्वेसिं, पढमं हवइ मंगलं॥

The Navkar Mantra, also known as the Namokar Mantra or Navakara Mantra, is a significant Jain prayer recited by followers of Jainism. It is one of the most fundamental and powerful mantras in Jain philosophy. Here is the meaning and benefits associated with the Navkar Mantra:























नमो अरिहंताणम

मैं उस प्रभु को नमन करता हूं, जिसने सभी दुश्मनों का नाश कर दिया है, क्रोध-मान-माया-लोभ, राग-द्वेष, रूपी दुश्मनों का नाश कर दिया है।

नमो सिद्धाणं

मैं उन सभी भगवान को नमन करता हूं जिन्होंने अंतिम मुक्ति प्राप्त की है।

नमो आयरियाणं

मैं उन आचार्य भगवान को नमस्कार करता हूँ जिन्होंने ख़ुद आत्मा प्राप्त कर लिया है और मोक्ष का मार्ग दिखाते हैं ।

नमो उवज्जायाणम

मैं मोक्ष के मार्ग के आत्माज्ञानी शिक्षकों को नमन करता हूं ।

नमो लोए सव्व साहूणम

मैं उन सभी को नमन करता हूं जिन्होंने आत्मा को प्राप्त किया है और ब्रह्मांड में इस मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ रहे हैं।

एसो पंच नमुक्कारो

ऊपर जो पाँच नमस्कार किए वे

सव्व पावप्पणासणों

सब पापों का नाश करो।

मंगलाणम च सव्वेसिं

सभी  शुभ  मंत्रों में से

पढमं हवई मंगलं

यह उच्चतम है।

Meaning of the Navkar Mantra:

The Navkar Mantra is composed of nine syllables, and each syllable holds profound significance. Here is the meaning of each syllable:

1. Namo Arihantanam: I bow to the enlightened beings (Arihantas) who have attained liberation and self-realization.

2. Namo Siddhanam: I bow to the liberated souls (Siddhas) who have reached the state of perfection and eternal bliss.

3. Namo Ayariyanam: I bow to the spiritual teachers (Acharyas) who guide us on the path of righteousness.

4. Namo Uvajjhayanam: I bow to the ascetic monks and nuns (Upadhyayas) who impart spiritual knowledge.

5. Namo Loe Savva Sahunam: I bow to all saints and sages in the world who have attained spiritual enlightenment.

6. Eso Panch Namukkaro: These five salutations

7. Savva Pava Panasano: Destroy all sins and obstacles

8. Mangalanam Cha Savvesim: Amongst all that is auspicious

9. Padhamam Havai Mangalam: This Navkar Mantra is the foremost and supreme.
