Always There for You
Not sharing it=carrying it
10 months, 10 factors

In September 2015, mental health was included in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this historic step, the United Nations (UN) acknowledged the burden of disease of mental illness, and defined mental health as a priority for global development for the next 15 years. On the road to this achievement, many individuals and organisations have played a role in contributing to the inclusion of mental health in the SDGs.

Considering the importance of Mental Health for Well-Being, we are delighted and proud to announce the launch of our new campaign 'Always There for You', an Initiative by Swapnil Saundarya & Painter Babu Rishabh with the aim to encourage positive conversations around mental health and discuss the general stigma around mental health, as well as the lack of understanding around how to support those suffering with it.

It's a 10 months campaign, that starts from 10th of January 2022 and will come to an end on 10th of October 2022 i.e. World Mental Health Day.

'Always There for You', will be organised under our ongoing master campaign 'Swapnil Saundarya Decade of Action for SDGs' (Launched On|27th of April 2020).

We will use 'ART' to raise awareness of mental health issues and as a path to healing for those coping with mental illness.

We are planning to focus on these 10 factors throughout this campaign that  affect mental health:

childhood abuse, trauma, or neglect
social isolation or loneliness
experiencing discrimination and stigma
bereavement (losing someone close to you)
severe or long-term stress
having a long-term physical health condition
unemployment or losing your job
homelessness or poor housing
drug and alcohol misuse
domestic violence, bullying or other abuse as an adult

This  campaign is going to popularise green colour as a symbol of personal commitment to raise mental health awareness and encourage others to document their recovery through various forms of art.

You all are Invited to:

⦁Get involved
⦁Talk and advocate
⦁Educate and reflect
⦁Tell us what you are doing to combat mental illness, raise awareness or help someone in need.
⦁Give a glimpse into your mental health journey.
⦁Share the stories told by real people tackling topics like depression and anxiety.

If you have feedback, please let us know. We’d love to hear from you.

Be a part of Swapnil Saundarya Family and recognize your worth, contribute your creativity to aware, inform and empower each other for the mental well-being.
